Yay! Ugh! Good! Maybe Good. Oh no! There are so many reactions we can have to each day, but always, I am grateful for today. I’m certain you are too.
Each day is a gift. After multiple “C” diagnoses, my responses and emotions to each day can range the board. “You have had 3 different cancers in 3 different places and you are still here, standing. That is your testimony, Kristin,” says the radiation oncologist. With that encouragement, I confess to you that I have had skin basal cell carcinoma, breast cancer invasive ductal carcinoma and tongue cancer squamous cell carcinoma. 3 different types, 3 different places in my body and according to that precious doctor, for 3 different “reasons.” Here are my thoughts:
2. 2 Things can be True at One time. Right? I can be in a hospital bed AND be beyond thankful it wasn’t worse than it was! Paul can be in prison AND lead others in their faith. You can be hurt by someone AND still love them. We can go about our mundane jobs or days AND be grateful for each breath! We can be Cut AND Covered at the same time. Blessings AND Battlefields. 3. You. Are. Possible. With God, All Things Are Possible! I’m just here to say that I am Not possible at all without our Lord. I can do nothing without Him, His help and His word. Period. Matthew 19:26 4. No matter what…He still performs His Majesty, His Mystery AND His Miracles. We are His. None of us know our end of days or how that will happen. None of us know for sure. Therefore, in ALL (good & bad) things, stand in faith. Faith IS the Victory friends. FAITH is the Victory. How can we LIVE without it? Mark 11:23-25 Ephesians 3:20 Psalm 118:17 God Bless you and your families this Thankful season, ~Kristin
